I enjoyed making the podcast more than I thought I would. I
wanted to try adding music to it but needed to be careful about not adding
music illegally. After a Google search, I found www.freemusicarchive.org and figured
out how to credit the musician after finding something I liked. I did the voice recording in QuickTime Player,
transferred to iTunes, and then transferred to iMovie where I completed the
rest of the podcast.
I enjoyed talking to Edith. Unfortunately, she had been out
of town all week and could not catch up with her until the end of the week.

Jen,
ReplyDeleteKudos to you for adding music to your video! I thought about it, but like you, was concerned about the copyright issues. I checked into some free internet music sites, but didn't go any further. I applaud perseverance and your new learning!

JenYoho,
ReplyDeleteYour expert did a great job answering your questions and exercised great voice control in your interview. In this week’s reading we read that there is great potential to build an archive of expert interviews for use in class (King & Cox, 2011). After hearing how great your expert sounded, I can see how this can be a great tool in the adult education classroom. Thanks for sharing!
